Abstract study of a plug and socket

Illustration: Natasha Kinrade: I completed my degree in Illustration at Norwich University College of the Arts in June 2011, and studied prior to that at University College Falmouth. I take inspiration from the mundane things in life, particularly objects. I create my work in mainly ink and focus on making loose marks. Colour is another contributing factor in constructing my own style. I also have a passion for abstract image making, where colour overrides form. I draw what I see: it does not have to be special or individual. Everyday things or occurrences are often overlooked as being mundane but this is what I love to document.
